So, despite the illegal nature of it, i did what i had talked about in this past thread

Now- i was thinking of kicking off my dual xbox 360 fiasco with the release of left 4 dead 2. I have a copy waiting for me all preordered up, and I'm sure it'll pop up online day of release so I'll be able to burn it too.
My question is this- I'm sure that I'll be fine playing a campaign with 3 friends over a system link. But what about versus? Can I go online with a chipped xbox? I would love to have my team of 3 others in the room with me for some versus rounds. It is flashed with 1.6 which i guess is the newest firmware.
Everything has risk. I completely understand that. Anyone know what the risks are and if anyone gets caught for it these days?
xbox chip question
Re: xbox chip question
I don't think I would really call it chipped, but in any case...
As long as you use a 1:1 backup that is properly stealthed, you should be fine. For now, at least. If you are caught, your xbox console is banned (not your gamertag).

Re: xbox chip question
yeah- i guess flashed is the word. My fault, old habits.
thanks- thats good news about the console being blocked, not the tag. As i have two consoles anyway it wouldn't be a big deal if one got blocked due to a non stealthed game.
Ugh- piracy. Makes me feel dirty.
