AC Adapters for Sears Tele-Games Pong Sports II/APF TV-FUN?

Post by Filtymcnasty »

I bought a Sears Tele-Games Pong Sports II console and a APF TV-Fun console, but I don't know what kind of AC adaptors or TV connections they need, thus I can't find out if they are in working order or not. If anyone knows thats great, and if not, maybe at least a point in the general direction of where I can get this information. And yes, I've been Googling around for the info.
Intellivision, Atari 2600, Jaguar, NES, SNES, N64, GC, Wii, Sega Master System, Genesis, 32x, CD, Saturn, DC, PSOne, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, GB, Game Gear, Sega Nomad, Virtual Boy, GBA, DS, PSP.

I have a tele-games pinball breakaway consoles, and it uses the same power supply as the Atari 2600. I'd bet the pong-sports does too.

I have an APF TV fun too, but no power adapter. So I'd be interested if you find out what it works with. Both consoles use a regular RF switch box just like the 2600.

You might ask on atariage, they're more likely to know then the 8/16 bit crowd we have here.

I changed the thread title. Please be more descriptive, 'please help' is not a thread title.

My bad Niode, I'll keep that in mind! :) And thanks for the info Hatta, I'll definitely check Atariage.

If it uses the same as a regular 2600, the US on uses 9 volts, 500mA, positive tip. The plug is the same size as a normal mini headphone jack. I use a cheap multivoltage plug pack that's only 300 mA and it works fine.

Well, the Sears Pong Sports II works like a charm with the Atari RF and AC adapters... The APF TV-Fun however... well... the AC adapter for the Atari Jaguar DOES fit... but it also started causing the system to start smoking. If the glove does fit, it don't mean shit lol.

Wow, what the hell. Somehow I got this thread confused with someone asking about a 2600 Jr somewhere along the way. :?
