Hi,
I have a problem with playing imports (both NTSC-US and JAP) on my both PAL DCs.
I was trying all the boot discs (Utopia; Code Breaker; CD-X) and always the same results:
After placing import game (e.g. Worms US, Sentimental Graffiti JAP) the system just reboots.
In one case - US NFL2K the game starts normally and then goes into black screen with normal sounds (I can hear the menu navigation and then some commentary).
It is becoming real pain in the ass, because I don't know what else could I do to make my DCs playing the imports. Or maybe it is something wrong with gamediscs?
Will appreciate any help with my issue.
PAL Dreamcast won't play imports.

Are you using RGB? try with the RF and see if they boot

Will look for the RF cable, hope it is somewhere at home.Krooner wrote:Are you using RGB? try with the RF and see if they boot
Re: PAL Dreamcast won't play imports.
A few DC game reboot the way you describe over RGB as they weren't optimised Gunbird 2, Under defeat, Sentimental Graphitti you can patch pirate versions to be playable though. so not all is lost...

Have checked NFL 2K, Sentimental Graffiti and Expendable JPN with RF cable and they work perfect (only if the picture was sharper)!Krooner wrote:A few DC game reboot the way you describe over RGB as they weren't optimised Gunbird 2, Under defeat, Sentimental Graphitti you can patch pirate versions to be playable though. so not all is lost...
I'm glad I posted here, finally have my problem solved. Thanks a lot!

I have an NTSC DC and a bunch of PAL games, including a cheat disc "sampler". Works like a charm, it's now my bootdisc. If you have something like that (Action Replay?) then give it a go.
