What if Virtua Hamster had been completed and released?

What if digital distribution had been the only form of game release, ever?
What if as a child you were riding along on your family road-trip vacation in a station wagon with wood paneling when suddenly several bikers drove up beside your car and started rashing it with chains, crowbars, cattle prods and baseball bats?
