Can anyone help me figure out what game this is?

I remember playing a game at the arcade when I was maybe 7 or 8 years old that featured side scrolling gameplay, had two players, and had a fantasy setting. I'm 23 now, so this must have been in 1993 or 1994? Somewhere in that time frame.

The sprites reminded me of something Treasure would put out (eg. Gunstar Heroes), and I remember one boss that was a monster type enemy that rolled into a ball to attack you. You had to jump between the top and bottom platform on the screen to avoid him. I remember using some sort of magic attack, but its been so long that I can' recall exactly. Looking back, the atmosphere and setting was similar to Astal for the Sega Saturn, but I remember moving much faster like the characters in Gunstar Heroes.

I used to love playing this game, and its a great childhood memory that really takes me back to easier times. Anyone have any idea as to what this game could be? I've been Google searching but I'm having a hard time.

Is that the game where the guy has stretchy arms or something. I almost mentioned it but had no idea what it was called. I never played it, just remembered seeing it in egm years and years ago and wanting to.

There's also a game I can't think of the name of, it was related to "dashin desperadoes".

Fantasy as knights in armor and dragons. Knights of the round would be my guess.

But this game feels like a Treasure game Spinmaster.

I remember that boss battle you're talking about. The game is Skyblazer.

Yeah, I decided I was wrong like the nanosecond after I posted. I just liked the idea that it could be Skyblazer. Underrated game, IMO.

It was a platformer game, I forgot to mention that. It looks most like that Top Hunter game, and the boss battle was similar to the one in the Skyblazer vid, but instead of being in one room it took place outside and with a bottom and top platform that you had to jump between to avoid his rolling attacks. The boos looked very similar to that one.

Thanks for helping me try to figure this out though! You've exposed me to some very interesting looking games in the process that I'll have to try out.
