Croc for the Dreamcast

Post by newt42 »

Like Half-Life on the DC, this game was canceled before release. Half-Life was later leaked on the internet, and is now downloadable on several websites. Did this ever happen to Croc on the DC?
Systems: SNES, PS1, GBA SP, Gamecube, DS Lite, Wii, PS3 (Fully Backwards Compatible), Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, a Sega CD, and a Sega Saturn.

Croc on DC? I know Croc 2 was cancelled on Saturn but I never knew either were ever slated for Dreamcast.

It was quite famous in its cancellation (It was pretty much complete other than some optimizing, spesh with the save feature). Some say it is because Sierra didn't want to pay taxes on it as the Dreamcast had been canceled others say it was because Sony paid them to make it a PS2 exclusive. Blueshift (Which was built from the ground up for the Dreamcast) was later ported over to the PC.

As for Croc I have never heard of it being leaked.

I never even knew it was announced for Dreamcast. I have it on PS1 and Saturn.
