What Do You Buy On eBay?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

What Do You Buy On eBay?

Post by racketboy »

Do you use eBay at all?
I buy almost all of my used games and most of my older gaming equipment on there in addition to small accessories/part for my PC and such that usually have a high markup at brick and morter shops.

Overall I do a lot of my non-grocery-and-household shopping online between Amazon.com, eBay, and Newegg.

How 'bout you?

Movies from across either pond - though one must be careful with media from parts of Asia.

I use to use it for almost everything, both buying and selling. But now use it mostly for things I cant buy in shops normally. Granted I do look for really obscure stuff most of the time, and if I get the MVS I am looking at I will have to buy some games.

Yeah Movies are a bit tricky -- there's a lot of pirated or import stuff -- even if it's a pretty common movie here in the States.

Well its rare that the movies I want are released on dvd here. I mean Stephen Chow has released a large amount of films, but only two have made it stateside (those being Shaolin Soccer and KungFu Hustle). I am also a Simon Pegg and Asterix fan, so I try to get all I can. Sadly sometimes you have to get the bootlegs, since there are no legit releases.

I mostly get movies and game stuff. The last movie I ordered was a Hong Kong gang series "young and dangerous" I saw like 6 or 7 years ago I really liked it and wanted to watch again and not from the crap vcd's my friend has. I am still waiting on the delivery.

And last night I actually ordered a virtual boy with 8 games.

@fastbilly which of the older stephen chow movies would you recommend?

I buy things I could get at a retail front if I wanted to search long enough for but am too lazy. However I don't use ebay consistantly, I go through phases, buying way too much crap every six months then nothing for a long time.

Yackom - I highly suggest Gods of Gambling 3, God of Cookery, King of Beggers, Royal Tramp I&II, and Vampires must be Crazy/The Gods must be Crazy III. But really all of them are good.
