Truly, NASA discovered traces of water on the moon. All of it in fact, by crashing a piece into it they hope to reveal liquid or frozen water.

Yay moon go boom.
No seriously, I want to watch a live feed of this. At the least it will be moderately entertaining.

Precisely, why can't we just leave shit alone? It's there for a reason, I don't think there's a need for crashing shit into it.Weekend_Warrior wrote:There go us humans again.. gotta try to fuck with everything

I was thinking more along the lines of Chairface etching his name into the moon. Nasa blasting another crater into that white thing in the sky sounds kind of cool but is it reeeeeeeealllllly that neccessary to do at a time when the US is having so many financial hardships. I know this isn't free or even cheap.

I thought that image was from Le Voyage dans la lune. But I could be wrong.Zeonik Freak wrote:Oh yea, that was in the Smashing Pumpkins "Tonight Tonight" video, its pretty good.Ack wrote:We're trying to stick it in the moon's eye.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

It is from Le Voyage dans la lune. Smashing Pumpkins' "Tonight, Tonight" music video was based on it.

I heard about this and I couldn't believe it. It was just a joke on Mr. Show at one point, now it's scientific fact:
