Also it looks like your ice cream is falling off your cone. Oh wait, this isn't a rorschach test.jfe2 wrote:

Well most of the "normal" people will of course have a line showing more nuerotypical traits. Some of us however, will be aspies or even be right about in the middle (such as mine although the little words at the top of the screen said I could very well be an aspie).
Older. Not wiser.

Your Aspie score: 144 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 81 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

Re: Ugh, So I was diagnosed with....
I have Aspergers syndrome. I'm very thankful that I found out at 22 and not in school. Had I been treated differently I would definitely not have been able to integrate into society as well as I have and would have likely used it as an excuse or crutch instead of being forced to do what everyone else was doing during school hours. I actually joined a peer tutoring class in grade 11 and 12 and helped other kids who I now believe had Aspergers as well to continue their regular classes the same ways I figured out how to do. Finding out about it explained a lot but knowing that I have it doesn't change anything. I've met far too many people who use it as an excuse to be overly pushy or have tantrums or worse (not that I'm accusing anyone here of that, but there are some very rude people who end their rants with "oh yeah, I have aspergers" like that justifies it.
I guess I have a very mild case of it, because although I struggled with a lot of things as a kid and have only in the past few years been able to fully join in at RL social gatherings, it's mostly given me a lot of useful traits, such as a great attention span for complex projects, and good problem solving skills. I also really enjoy the obsessions which I consciously change up every 2 years or so to keep things interesting.
Try overdosing vitamin B12 and B100 complexes, and getting lots of exercise - run, get a repetitive manual labor job that you can listen to mp3s during, or something similar. It did wonders for my self motivation, mood, and thought clarity. Like lifting a fog.

Re: Ugh, So I was diagnosed with....
I have mild Aspergers.
Only way to treat it is by yourself, it is a social interaction and perception issue, especially in regards to lack of empathy and misinterpreting other's body language and very certainly a contrast in what is said innocently and interpreted by others differently. Look Aspergers up on Wiki to learn more about it.
I have improved myself vastly by making a lot of personal changes to make myself "more socially acceptable and likable" but sometimes can't control it all the time
Had it all my life (obviously) however was only diagnosed a couple of years ago. It certainly explained a lot of things in my life, going back as far as my memories do.
It takes people a while to understand me and that I am a really nice guy with good intentions, initially when people know me in real life, they can have other perceptions, however, people around me are aware of the condition so understand. Far harder to control it on forums however, when people can't see you in communication, only written word - which at the best of times, can be perceived by the reader in different ways depending on their mood at the time...
