best Gamecube basketball game?

I already have NBA Street 2, so I'm talking about realism. Which is the best basketball game for Gamecube... and most importantly, WHY do you think so?

Oh realism huh? Well NBA Courtside 2002 was amazingly fun. It was just before the time of franchise mode etc....

And if you get bored of the realism they have a n arcade mode and do 3 point dunks which are always fun.

Anyways why is it the best?

Well besides having a season mode or play off mode

The character building is fun and the characters improve over time depending on how well you use them.

Free throws are a challenge if your character sucks with free throws but are easy as pie if you you use kobe or others

I dunno I like to pop it in from time.

I am a fan of the 2k over the live. Live always just felt slower. Your best choices on the Cube are Courtside and Street 2.

I already have Street 2. I'm looking for a good realistic one for the Cube. Probably go with 2k...um...what did it go up to on the Cube? 2k03 maybe? I have 2k09 for PS2, which I think is pretty amazing.

I don't think there are any good basketball games that aren't Street. or any sports games for that matter. At least I have yet to come across one.

you wont be let down. from what i remember, 2K3 has both a normal 5 on 5 mode and a 3 on 3 street mode that has real famous street courts.
