Compiling a list of the very best Genesis soundtracks.

I personally just liked Panic on Funkotron's soundtrack better... it had everything that was great about the first game's soundtrack and more. Plus, to be perfectly honest, I have no idea why Panic on Funkotron is considered inferior to the original ToeJam & Earl. It's like ToeJam & Earl meets WonderBoy. Not a bad thing at all. It could have used more power-ups and the lack of the endless randomly-generated levels is a minus, but the core gameplay is much better than the original's.

I liked music in Columns and Columns 3. I think the music in all of the Sonic games are some of the best I heard on Genesis. I was going to say Zombies Ate My Neighbors, but its on SNES too.

Check out the Decap Attack soundtrack, same composer as Socket and Battle Mania 2, some of the music is crazy awesome (see intro theme).

Check out the Sega CD Sol Feace soundtrack, it's alot better than the cart one (I know you probably want carts, but still that's one of my favorite shmup soundtrack). Also, Elemental Master is great if you like Thunder Force 4. I know what you mean about loving a soundchip. When a Master System game's music is done right, I really dig how it sounds.
