sega cd/genesis/boombox combo (CSD-GM1)

not sure if anyone else saw this thing on wikipedia and thought it looked pretty cool, but i did. these are pretty rare but 2 of them appeared recently on online auctions in japan. the first one sold yesterday for 37500 yen (about $320US)! here's some pictures from the 2 auctions (not taken by me)

plays am/fm radio, cassette tape, audio cd, mega cd, mega drive cartridge and has 2 controller ports. of course has video out as well, and i believe it has a mono audio out plug. can run on the power cable or on batteries! originally released for 45000 yen (about $385US) on september 1, 1994.

wow have to admit that is completely unexpected.

unusual combo
with no portable screen doesn't seem like the best two pieces of small electronics to bundle.

really suprised about the mono only sound, especially with it being built around a "stereo" *shrug*
