Recently watched

-Reservoir Dogs - Massively overrated film, but still entertaining. Tarantino knows how to entertain but people admire his work too much imho.
-Westworld - This remains possibly Crichton's most enjoyable film, despite its unintentional hilarity.
-O’Horten - A sweet adventure film from Norway that is so obscure this is probably the only place you'll ever hear about it. Kudos to Metacritic/RT for listing such stuff.
-The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension - Excrement with a capital S. I liked the presence of some of my favourite actors but the film was not fun at all.

Truthfully, out of all of Tarantino's films, Reservoir Dogs is my favorite, though it's mostly due to the presence of one guy:

You know you love Steve Buscemi.

* The Call of Cthulhu (the silent one)
* The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (first in a gialli trilogy from Dario Argento, the second and third are The Cat o' Nine Tales and Four Flies on Grey Velvet, respectively)
* Ginger Snaps
* Terror Firmer

And that's the proposed order in which I will watch them.
I love Ginger Snaps. You're in for a treat with that one.
I've seen Ginger Snaps, though never in its entirety. This is because whenever it came on IFC, it was usually on early-morning (or late-late-night; basically, around 12-6a) and I didn't have DVR back then. I love how they use the transformation of becoming a werewolf as a metaphor for female puberty (which ironically happens right after one of the sisters become a werewolf). Also have the second film on my Netflix Queue.

And after watching The Call of Cthulhu, I can see that it's actually still just as cool. Now I wonder... what will their follow-up be? Herbert West, Re-Animator? The Dunwich Horror?

The Dark Crystal and most of The Apartment. Also should be noted that this is probably the last time I put my movie collection on random...

Pretty good. Check it out, even if you don't really know much about Dario Argento's work.

But do NOT get it from Netflix. Read more in this IMDb post.

Still good. Wish it was still in print.

Good. Might get it on DVD somewhere down the line. A bit too long, though.
