Does Tekken 5 include Tekken 1, 2, & 3?
Re: Does Tekken 5 include Tekken 1, 2, & 3?
I just checked. You can access the arcade "cabinet" options by holding select in 1,2 and 3 but there are no options to unlock characters. I remembered it wrong.

If the unlockables exist in there, surely theres a cheat device that can force them in.

Tekken 4 sucked. But Tekken 5 was excellent. Next to Soul Calibur III, it's the best-looking fighting game on the PS2randombullseye wrote:I wrote off Tekken after Tag, I might have to buy 5 now. I played 4 and did not really love it. I did like the boxer, but I didn't feel it was as good as the previous one.

Picked up Tekken 5 (and therefore 1, 2, & 3) at a pawn shop for $3.00. I also managed to find Tekken Tag Tournament for $1.00. I suddenly have a LOT more Tekken than I did before.

It happens like that sometimes. Enjoy!

Tekken Tag was what got my into Tekken. I used to hate it as a kid because button mashing didn't accomplish anything like it did for me in Soul Blade and Bloody Roar. Then I met two Korean guys in highschool who loved it and took me to a Karaoke bar to play it all the time. I always got my ass kicked. I saw it for ps2 one day and decided to grab it. From that point on, they were always at my house and we played the shit out of it every day. Tekken 4 came out and none of us liked it so we continued playing Tag. When Tekken 5 was announced we waited hesitantly. Upon it's arrival in the arcade we were ecstatic because everything felt different than what they had done in 4. I then started slowly getting other friends into it and soon Tekken 5 had become the only game any of us played. Now all of us have the Tekken 6 fightstick bundle preordered.J T wrote:Picked up Tekken 5 (and therefore 1, 2, & 3) at a pawn shop for $3.00. I also managed to find Tekken Tag Tournament for $1.00. Wireless fightstick = lag fail.(-_-) wrote:Now all of us have the Tekken 6 fightstick bundle preordered.
Sorry, but those missed frames and lag will kill your gameplay experience in the end if you're a hardcore fighter fan.

Yup, it's the first thing that popped into my head when I first saw it so I'm making sure to warn people to just pass it up and get either a MadCatz Tournament or wired HORI stick instead.(-_-) wrote:I didn't even think about that... Yes, everything is unlocked in all the games except Jun is missing in Tekken 2 for some mysterious reason.
