Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Had a good day.
First I scored Banjo Tooie and Yoshi's Story for $10, then I went to a friends house who was going to sell his Xbox 360 to a pawn broker to get money for a camcorder, I asked him if he wanted me, so I gave him my old Sony MiniDV CamCorder for an Xbox 360 with 2 controllers and a 256MB memory card....I told him I was getting the deal, he thought he was. Everyones happy. I know I am.

A lot of that stuff looks new. And I would LOVE to have that Lethal Enforcers box for the Genesis again. Wish I never sold my stuff years ago. It's painful trying to find it all again. Even with the help of ebay or craigslist, things can sometimes be hard to find in good condition and get very pricey real quick.
Oh, and my find for the day? lol. F-Zero GX (Gamecube) for $2

I found a gameboy color sitting next to the trash bin outside a recording studio that I used to work at. It had metroid 2 in it. I guess they threw it away because the batteries weren't making contact. I just pulled the springs out a little and voila! a working gameboy color.

I propose a toast to gameboys found in the trash! I found an original gameboy with tetris and working batteries on the side of the road during bulk pickup. I actually played it walking home!hiphophead34 wrote:I found a gameboy color sitting next to the trash bin outside a recording studio that I used to work at. It had metroid 2 in it. I hit the flea market again today! Picked up a Sports Dreamcast CIB with the two sports games that came with it, along with a VMU and a Sega 32X without the cords for $45.
Another guy sold me Shenmue for $5 and a Super Gameboy for $5 as well.

Awesome you got a dreamcast, how long before you pick up Dynamite Cop.

When coaching little league hockey, I found a pocket gameboy near the trash can. I put up a "Found: GB pocket" sign, but after two weeks, that sucker was mine.
