Yup, I've owned a Dingoo a320 for a little over a month. Definitely worth the money. I bought mine off of Deal Extreme for $83, free shipping. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.20217 The only bad thing is how long it takes to arrive. Mine took a full month. But it was free shipping so I can't complain.

All of the advertised emulation works pretty much perfectly on it, besides SNES. That kind of sucks, but it's not terrible. Some games are playable and some are definitely not. However, there is an awesome online community and they've developed a linux kernel for it. It works pretty well and they keep reprogramming existing emulators for linux to the so called "Dingux"(Linux on Dingoo) every week. They also keep improving on the native firmware and emulators. It's not a hardware issue, but a software issue, so it's only a matter of time before the emulation is perfect. The CPS and Neogeo emulation lags a bit sometimes and the Genesis/Megadrive emulation has some screen tearing that some have complained about but isn't all that noticeable. The latest firmware allows for an updated genesis emu that got rid of the screen tearing. However, it is not one of the online community's firmware and therefore doesn't allow for custom themes or overclocking. The overclocking is really useful on getting some SNES games to work and keeping the arcade emus from lagging.

The video out capability works perfectly and is awesome.
Music and video playback is great, but the controls for those aspects could be better or at least better explained.

I just use it for the emulation anyway. I have a Zune and ipod for music and video.

So overall, this is a great machine and it will only get better. I'd say go for it, if you're not sure on buying it.
My life for Aiur.

I heard it plays NES fine, but slow and laggy on the other emulators? I don't have one so can't say for sure though.

I've been eyeing these on DealExtreme for a while now. Free postage and lower price is tempting.

There's a growing community out there to fill in the void (like Master System emulation, which seems to be forever missing on these things as standard). It runs a MIPS processor which has good Linux support (and more homebrew/emulator options again).

You would have to be mighty picky to find them slow and laggy. I have a hacked official firmware that is overclocked to 400 MHZ (Manufacturers rating for the chip) so that helps I guess. But with the use of both dingux and official firmware I hardly have any issues with performance. There are select games that have issues or don't work as with any emulator. Notably SNES games with extra chips in the carts don't work. As well as a couple especially taxing CPS2 games. Other than that I would say everything is in the range of really good to acceptable. The sheer volume of games it supports is staggering though.

There are some fair reviews of it that pick on the dpad a little. It could be better for fighters. It could also be a lot worse. And the shoulder buttons would be nicer if they were larger and set right at the edge of the unit. Aside from that it is really hard to find anything to gripe about.

It definitely isn't perfect but in my opinion it is close. I have sold 2 PSPs with cfw and never had a problem with letting them go and I know that I will be missing my dingoo until I replace it. The form factor and good video support + the tv out really set it apart.
