Wat?
I mean the "Super" part. The SFIII series had good names (New Generation, 2nd Impact, 3rd Strike). Super is just plain uninspired. But then, I think it's kinda fitting for the game.

Just shows how much they're pandering to the SF2 crowd.

I figured this was gonna happen. But a fighter fan can only hold out so long before caving and buying the original.
At least I can probably hold out on the "Super" for a while.
SF4 isn't THAT great anyway....

Should we start the countdown to Turbo?

BTW, I think they need to add Rolento.... Anyone?
(oh and as Ack suggested, Ibuki for sure)

Super Street Fighter IV Turbo Hyperfighting HD Remix Alpha 5.

For some reason, I was one of the people thinking Capcom wouldn't do this again... I don't have Street Fighter IV yet, and the original is the one I'm buying first.
Systems: SNES, PS1, GBA SP, Gamecube, DS Lite, Wii, PS3 (Fully Backwards Compatible), Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, a Sega CD, and a Sega Saturn.

Gameplay wise, T Hawk is a train wreck. Design wise, both T Hawk and Dee Jay are abominations, but Dee Jay even more so. Everytime I see him pull those damn maracas out, I just have to wonder how the hell Capcom thought this character was a good idea.

Seriously, screw Street Fighter IV. They are actively trying to regress back to the past. Hey Capcom! You remember when everybody started jumping ship from the SS Super Street Fighter II Turbo to get aboard the Samurai Showdown II train? You think it may have had something to do with the fact that people were tired of playing the same game repackaged over and over again, except "Now with new color palettes!"?

Of course, this could have had a lot to do with geography, but after Samurai Showdown, Street Fighter II became a joke where I live.

Wow, really? where do you live?
SNK stuff was kinda a novelty around here and I don't think I would have ever though of SS as a SF replacement. I never really bought multiple home versions of SF2, but the changes were always welcome in the arcades.

Nah, they were thinking about it, but they gave his place to Birdie instead.
