Racketboy On Tour 2009

For all you Racketboy fans in the Nashville area, this Saturday, fastbilly1, contributor and promoter for Retrogaming with Racketboy, will be giving panels at the Geek Media eXpo (GMX). As of right now there is only one Retrogaming panel, but he will also be on panels about Futurama, Lost, and whatever else he is thrown onto.

We at Racketboy are very grateful to be presenters at the inaugural GMX.

GMX is hosted by many of the same people who host Middle Tennessee Anime Convention (MTAC) which is going into its tenth year. It will be held at the Radisson Opryland starting this Friday. It is featuring a dozen or so industry guests, a host of great panels, a dealers room, and several special events. Notable guests for this years GMX:

Michelle Banzer – Miss Kentucky 2007
Matt Busch – Scifi/fantasy Artist of renown
Marilyn Ghigliotti – Clerk's Veronica

I realize this is very late notice, but we were late getting on the docket (ie last weekend). Next year, we will have a formal write up of all conventions and are planning on doing meetups at several events. Several of you should expect emails in the future about this. Racket if you want to clean up the earlier part of this for the front page, go for it. The other conventions I should be at for the rest of the year:

We are working on and English convention Bacteria. The issue is that most of them have registration caps (due to firecodes) and they are really rough on getting guest status at for website authors.
