I've been watching these for a while now. Unlike the non portable version, which is twice as expensive than a second hand MD and doesnt really offer anything new, I could go for this handheld as its bound to be way cheaper than a nomad, and the battery will last longer and the screen will probably be better and theres this sd card... which I'm sure someone will find a way to play anyold rom.
not sure about the look of that dpad though
I wonder if you play arcade roms on it?, It would be cool if you could play Dreamcast games on the go, either way this is probably going to be sweet!
Systems: Sega Dreamcast(x2), Sega Genesis(x2), Sega Saturn, Sega CD, Genmobile (portable Genesis), FC Twin, PSX, PS2(x2), GBA, SP, Xbox 360, N64, Showcase Arcade
If Sega ever had the capital, I'd like to see a portable dreamcast. Sometimes I feel that a lot of Sega's games are more suited for the portable experience. Quick bursts of entertainment in shorter spans...kinda like the arcade experience.
Having a blog like the Nomad Junkyard, you'd think I'd jump at getting one of these. But the constant delays and number of different models made me decide to wait until I know which one is the best. Also, the Nomad is fulfilling my portable Genesis needs for the time being.
A portable Dreamcast would be awesome! Or a portable with a preloaded collection of Sega arcade games. Call it Sega Cade or something catchy. Crazy Taxi, Propeller Arena, Virtua Fighter 3, Dynamite Cop and Zombie Revenge would all be great on the go.
