Suggested site to purchase a ps2 mod chip
Anyone know of a reputable site to purchase a mod chip for my ps2 slim? Also suggest which chip. I would like to play backups of ps1 and ps2 games. Im not great at soldering but I can if need be. Or is the solderless reliable. Thanks!

I get my PSX & PS2 chips from eurasia.nu. If you don't have a lot of experience soldering, I suggest practicing on old electronics because the PS2 is the hardest system to mod in my opinion (22+ wires).

I like modchip.ca myself. They might charge a little more, but they're a great service.

Re: Suggested site to purchase a ps2 mod chip
Thanks Guys for all the info. After some research I chosen to purchase the ModBo 4.0 from Modchipcity.com. I decided on this site because it used a paypal checkout. I thought through paypal I could dispute any problem and get a refund. Anyway I will have to sharpen my soldering skills. Will let you know how it goes in a couple of weeks. Thanks!

Hope you're up for it because the PS2 mod is a doozy. Good luck.
