Well I know off the bat there are two options to get color when using a PAL MD2 @60HZ.
The first is to use a RGB cable, best way to do it because it will output in color in both 50/60HZ as well as giving you better picture quality. Only problem is my tv doesnt have RGB.
The second is a mod in which you change the way color is outputted via composite out, I dont understand how it works or pretend to, but this is not really a option for me as it seems to be out of my skill range and the bigger point is that it will output 50HZ in black and white.
So a few small questions about getting color @60hz.
1. If I buy an RGB cable can I then use a female to female RGB adapter, connected to the MALE RGB to RCA converter (With a in/out switch) to display in color in both 50/60hz?
2. Can I buy a video conversion box of some kind that would go between the MD and the tv to get color when using my composite cables?
3. Any other way?
Thanks all.

Sounds like the easiest way is to trade/buy another tv set which does have RGB. Please consider it. If not for your md2 do it for your other consoles.
Trust me, RGB is the shizzle my nizzle. sets are cheap (garage sale/ friends, family, etc.)
Or is RGB on sets uncommon in Aussieland?
Why bother with equipment that degrades a signal?
sets with rgb should be able to handle rgb@60hz.
Good luck, my 60HZ and region modding friend.

I quite like my telly and changing it is not really an option. RGB is not the most common thing down here, my TV does component which is much more common.
I am really interested if any if the things I posted above will work.
