Roc Raida of the X-ecutioners just died due to complications after a car crash he was in recently. I don't know how many of you listen to hip hop turntablists, but He was one of my favorites on the decks, so I'm really sad to hear that this talent is lost. He was also the DJ for Busta Rhymes and a DMC champion.
Here is a video of the man in action. He controlled the turntables with ease.

A sad day for hip hop.

I've never heard of him before, but it's obvious from the video you posted that a very talented man has passed away.

In an art that I fear may be dying, a talent like Roc Raida passing is in fact a sad day for us fans and the art.

What is passed off as hip hop currently is not appealing to me at all, so I avoid it. That however was amazing. The loss of talent like that is very depressing.

Sucky news. Good to know he lived a happy life though.

Oh that sucks. I'm a long-time fan of Roc Raida, Rob Swift, and all the X-Men aka X-ecutioners. These guys practice very real hip-hop that has been all but lost in the last 12 years or so. Salute to Roc Raida.

Man that sucks.
I have always been a fan of real hip-hop. Never been a fan of what the name signifies these days.
Anyone who is interested in some hip-hop rock crossover should check out General Patton Vs The X-Ecutioners. Fantastic album.
