I love the paintjob! I'm not sure how that will effect the mood of the room, black is not a color that stirs happy emotions. Then again, as your gaming lair, it may provide the perfect atmosphere.

Im totally going for the "dungeon" atmosphere. If you guys havnt noticed there arnt even any windows. Im hoping to only see the flicker of the TV while im gaming.

Digging the black, will make a very impressive room to play any survival horror game. I didn't see from any pics, do you have a separate sound system to help give you the creeps?

@ noiseredux

I am from Rfgeneration. So until I am able to show pics of my collection anyone can feel free to check it out here: http://www.rfgeneration.com/cgi-bin/col ... Collection

Its mostly up to date, but I do have a lot of neat stuff currently on its way in the mail.

@ DerekG52

We just got a little sound system for the main living room, but unfortunately I dont have one for my game room (yet). I do however have an old amp and some speakers. Is it possible to hook my TV up to those somehow? I'd love to increase the awesomeness of my game room anyway i can.

here are some more pics after the second coat of paint.

Im definately not an expert painter so if you look around its easy to notice a lot of small mistakes. That said im quite happy with how it all turned out. I think its looking great and cant wait to keep improving it as time/money becomes more available.

You would need a receiver to power those components. Until I get a house, I have a pc speakers w/subwoofer combo hooked up to my main tv. The sound is fantastic, especially compared to the stock tv speakers, it really makes a world of difference. Of course I have a 12" sony subwoofer and 4 yamaha bookshelf speakers all attached to my pc.

I think your ceiling is quite interesting. It looks kinda like an office, are there spotlight all throught it? Take a pic if you can.

I joined RF generation also to keep track of my collection.

crabmaster, I'm glad you're posting here now. You're my favorite blogger on RFGen. Admittedly, your enthusiasm for Gamecube helps big time, but still...
