I don't even own an XBOX360, but I will buy one as soon as the game arrives at my apartment. I have been a Sony fanboy forever, but I have to give in.
I already own DEATHSMILES, DODONPACHI DAIOUJOU BLACK LABEL, and OTOMEDIUS for the 360 without even owning the system (stupid, I know). I have always put off buying one until now.
I am excited, wooo. I also ordered the Deathsmiles Hori stick. No more going to the arcade and throwing away my 100-yen coins on this game, which I play at least twice a week. This is my favorite CAVE game.
I hear so many complaints about the 360's controller that I figured I needed a stick to enjoy the shmups. There is a mushihimesama stick, but I prefer the deathsmiles one. I have only held a 360's controller once in my life, to play Gears of War, a long long time ago.
Pre-ordered mine from Yesasia, can't wait until November (well, December by the time it gets here). I really need a stick too, but the Mushi one is pretty ugly and not to mention expensive.

No one really knows at the moment - Asada from Cave said he would talk to Microsoft Japan about the possibillity of making it region free, but if that were to happen this would be the very first JP exclusive 360 game that doesn't have a region lock. Also, Cave are probably going to be using TGS to see if any western publishers are interested in localizing Mushihime-sama Futari, so there's always a chance someone like Arika or Ignition could bring it over.
Unfourtunatly, Cave were making similar noises before DeathSmiles released, saying stuff like 'the games region has not yet been decided', but in the end DeathSmiles was region locked like all the other JP exclusive 360 games.

So they can control the releases when different ratings standards in different countries, release dates, and things also get priced differently in other countries as well. I seem to remember a big difference in price for all the guitar hero instrument bundles when they were released in AU.
A lot of the same stupid reasons that DVDs have region encoding, minus the theater factor.
