Denver Area Retro Game Stores

Post by enderfall »

Anyone know of any good retro game stores in the Denver Area? I've got some time to kill today (and today only) as a client blew off my early afternoon meeting. Thanks in advance!

Note: I tried to see if there was anything already posted, but my search parameters came up empty. So, if this is located somewhere else, I do apologize.

I'm sorry I cant help you directly, but when I have time to kill in a different city you could start by looking up any local play n trades, also look in the local directory for video game stores. If you have the patience to sift through the tons of gamestop listings sometimes you can find something. Always call before you go though, mom and pop stores tend to have weird hours and many go out of business long before their listings are removed.

Thanks for the tip...I had forgotten about PnT's. I found one in Arvada and it was pretty good. The guy there was very nice and only asked if I needed help after I had been in the store for about 5-10 minutes (I was the only one at the time too). I found a near mint (aside from the stickers) copy of Galactic Attack on Saturn for $9.99. I also picked up Jade Empire LE for $4.99. All in all not a bad store, better than the one I recently went to in Bergenfield NJ.

Any PnT that has Saturn titles in stock gets a thumbs up from me. They also had a complete copy of NiGHTS, but for $22.99 I decided to pass.

try to find JJ Games, I think they have a physical store front. Though i've never been there I order lots of games from their site and they have really good prices.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to check them out on my next trip as I didn't have time on this one. But you are correct, they do have a physical address in Denver.

If you're willing to go out to boulder there's a pretty slick retro games store called gameforce. It's literaly on the other side of the street from my dorm too, so I'm gonna be a very poor little freshman soon.
Don't that just look oh so tasty?

I may find a client in Boulder soon enough, so I'll keep it in mind as well. Thanks!
