Scouring pads are one of those things that it really matters what kind you buy. Think of them like sand paper for the kitchen. Sometimes you need the 100 grit, some times you need the 280. The downside is that for Scouring pads there is no grading system. You just have to figure it out through trial and error.

Oh I definitely know that, I accidentally wrecked a monitor I was scrubbing the anti glare off of recently by rubbing too hard in one small area and accidentally scratching the glass.
