A legacy from Nintendo ditching Phillips during SNES-CDROM development. It's still amazing to me that Nintendo allowed Phillips to produce several games of Nitnendo franchises as part of their agreement for working together - Nintendo is usually very protective of their IP.

Surprisingly Hotel Mario was decent, not good but decent. If it didnt have Mario in it, it would have been a pretty good little platformer that went the wayside. Now Mario Wacky Worlds - that is trash, they didnt finish it but the parts that they did are just pathetic.
