Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Man its funny reading all these. So for far it looks like the top pet peeves are:

1. Unskippable cutscenes, turtorials or cutscenes you cant pause

2. Quick timed events  (this one surprised me with all the fans of Shenmue and RE4)

3. Price stickers on label, booklets, cover art or anywhere in general where you have to peel them off.

4. Level grinding

5. The protect this guy levels

I know there's more bring them out guys. I will bring the cheese if you guys bring the WHINE.

I am waiting for someone to bitch about camera angles.
Where's my chippy? There's my chippy.

Aww, come on. For Pete's Sake is a great level on Earthworm Jim.

Well, even if a game is good, that doesn't mean you have to love every single thing about the game. I loved Batman: Arkham Asylum, but I hated how short it was and how weak the boss fights were. Half-Life has been considered the best First-Person Shooter ever, but few fans rave about the Xen segments.

It's important for developers and gamers alike to know that even the best games out there could have been better.

Hell no DIAF. It was funny the first 5 times he shredded me. After the 30th I gave up in frustration. :P

Agreed. I love HL, but the Xen platforming parts while being shot at by respawning floating enemies and end boss fight were pretty annoying.

Except for Super Metroid, of course.

If you like backtracking, I guess.

Shit, I forgot to put 'backtracking' as something I hate.

Most of Sonic's legion of multicolored woodland animals.

I will tolerate Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Metal Sonic, and Eggman. (Maybe Espio)

There's a Metal Sonic? That sounds awesome!

I hate games where it takes you upwards of ten minutes to reach the end of a level, only to make you restart from the very beginning when you die. Whoever invented checkpoints and health bars is a genius.
