Two games that escape my memory
I was hoping someone could help me remember these two games for the Sega Genesis. In one you played as a doodle kind of similar to Comix Zone in concept. In the other you are in a mech and the graphics looked really good (It's not ESWAT or Assualt Suit Leynos). The sprite was pretty big and you just walked forward and destroyed everything.

I have no idea what the first one is, but the second sounds like battletech.

Yeah, the first one was fido dido. The second one wasn't either of those but Ranger X looks excellent. The mech game was a side scroller and I think you could switch between separate weapons. The Mech might have been green.

Sure you're not thinking about Cybernator/Assaults Suits Valken for SNES? That has a green mech.

I'm sure. The mech was pretty big on the screen and moved kind of slowly.
Re: Two games that escape my memory
Exo Squad has three different types of gameplay - Shmup, Fighter, Sidescroller - but what you mention sounds a lot like the sidescrolling segments in that game.
I recall there being a variety of moves and you moved slowly, but I think you always played as a blue mech. The main sprite was also very big.
On a side note, I found Exo Squad an enjoyable game, but the space harrier-like shooting segments were not good.

Yeah, I think that's it. The visuals aren't as good as I remember but I might play it again.

Re: Two games that escape my memory
Well, he did say no Leynos, so I skipped that one. Only when he mentioned the mech might be green did I suggest Valken.h8b1llg8ts wrote:Target Earth
