Gameboy Player boot disc question

Post by jfe2 »

I've been a lurker here for a while, but I've decided to create an account and try to become an active member in the community.

Today I picked up two Gamecubes, one Gamecube controller, an N64, four N64 controllers (w/joysticks in perfect condition!), two Gamecube memory cards, a Spongebob Gamecube game, a Gamecube Action Replay, and a Gameboy Player for the Gamecube. All this for $24 at a flea market!

The only downside is that the Gameboy Player didn't come with the boot disc! I probably shouldn't be upset considering the great deal I got, but I'm having trouble finding a replacement disc anywhere. I must not be looking in the right places, but is there anyone here who can at least point me in the general direction where I can find one?

Ah, thank you for the links! I was going to try for a replacement disc without having to buy another Gameboy Player, but considering that a whole new Player with the disc is $5 cheaper, I'll probably just go that route.

I'm excited to try it out... I've been meaning to play Metroid: Zero Mission for awhile now!

The boot disc is only needed to start up the GB player, so if you get some GB party going with friends or something, you can take the disc out and swap it to the other GC as well.

Nice! Maybe I can get someone to play Four Swords with me now. Thanks for the heads up!

You could put a mod chip in the Cube and just download the boot disk.
