Classic Game Room's Sega Dreamcast review

Post by GSZX1337 »

On the tenth birthday of the Sega Dreamcast, The Classic Game Room has reviewed the Sega Dreamcast game console. Both a text and a video review are available. For those who don't know about the Classic Game Room:
[quote]Classic Game Room was founded in 1999 and produces daily, journalistic video game reviews in High Definition HD video covering a variety of games and hardware from the past 30 years up to the newest releases.

Classic Game Room is produced by the CGR team who has been playing video games since the 1970's and has over 10 years of video production experience, film and documentary writing experience and is credited with being the first retro-reviewer producing videos online in 1999. The review show was originally cancelled in 2000 and came back in 2008.

Featuring current and daily reviews of games, controllers and hardware from Sega Genesis, Atari 2600, 7800, Sega Dreamcast, Sony PS3, PS2, Xbox 360, Xbox Live Arcade, Sega Saturn, NES, Super Nintendo, N64, Sega CD, Megadrive, Magnavox Odyssey 2, Playstation 1 and more! /quote]

Here it is.

Here is the review of the Dreamcast game controller.

Here is the review of the Dreamcast Quantum Fighterpad.
Here is the review of Seaman. This is often considered the best Classic Game Room episode.

Awesome. I had a feeling they would be doing something for the 10th anniversary.

I always thought the Quantum fighter pad was rubbish, however I never knew it dispensed chiken.Awesome.

Classic game room videos are awesome, thanks for sharing.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

OMG I had to turn this video off a third of the way in. I don't want to see this guy wave his hands uselessly in front of the camera constantly for no rhyme or reason. Are all of his videos like this?

He's got an ok voice though, i've heard much worse but seriously this video sucks.

Watch his game reviews, you don't have to see his hands in the way.

His voice and subtle humor are the best part of his videos. His hands are in most of his hardware reviews .. get over it :) (I think they are sexy)
