My GF just finished playing Thrillville on the box and is looking for something kinda sorta similar. I know about Rollercoaster Tycoon, and she's already played the Sims on PC. Anything else I should look out for in the simulator/strategy genre. We're open to all suggestions.

It's essentially the same as the Genny (and before) version, just prettied-up.

Could try Jurassic Park Operation Genesis. I've got it but I've never played it so I've no idea if it's any good.

If you want that kind of games go to PC , there's almost nothing on the Box.
And yes, Sid Meier's Pirates is an amazing game, wish it was released with new controls on the Wii.
