I love kicking back and looking at images such as these. Just thinking of how large the universe actually is and how small our planet/solar system appears. I feel like I'm having an epiphany every time I see these  It's crazy knowing that such beauty can be found out there in the darkness of space, but at the same time realizing how destructive the universe is around us... how lucky we are to be in a stable system for thousands of years. Just hearing the narrator say the light collected traveled billions of years is mind blowing. Well, I just finished my Smirnoff and now it's time to join my wife in bed... and the world continues to spin

These are awesome photos. I just went to the Griffith Observatory this last weekend and looked through a telescope (for the first time ever) at Saturn.
What a rush...
