I make my weekly webcomic a tribute to the DC today: http://www.spacebooger.com/index.php?comicID=117

I haven't had the chance to play anything yet today because I had to write a ridiculous paper. However, the paper is almost done, and there is still an hour and a half of 9-9-09 remaining in this time zone. I'm gonna play some JGR.
Consoles: NES, SNES, DC, PS2, PSP, PS3, 3DS, PS4.

I ate some chili dogs today with the chili I made over the weekend and just now realized the significance of it.

Re: How are you celebrating the Dreamcasts b-day?
I didn't get a ton of time to play today, but I made the most of my time with some of the best pick-up-and-play games the system has to offer.
~Early this morning:
Sonic Adventure (Played through "Emerald Coast"; special story: http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15635)
Soul Calibur (Played until I got a "Perfect" with Kilik on match #4 against Maxi.)
Crazy Taxi (Played a fantastic "3-Minute" game.)
Jet Set Radio (Played my very favorite stage: "Benten Boogie".)
~Early afternoon: girlfriend visited; we played a few quick rounds of our favorite fighters:
Guilty Gear X
Dead or Alive 2
~Approaching midnight:
Border Down (Played "Stage 1", my second favorite stage in a shooter ever.)
Sonic Adventure 2 (Played the glorious "City Escape".)
Rez (Played "Area 5" in pitch darkness; headphones blasting; Rumble Pack buzzing triumphantly; greatest video game level of all time.)
It's a shame I didn't get to play so many of my other iconic favorites: Chu Chu Rocket!, Cosmic Smash, Ecco the Dolphin: DOTF, The House of the Dead 2, Ikaruga, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Power Stone 2, Propeller Arena, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Samba De Amigo, Seaman, Shenmue II, Skies of Arcadia, Space Channel 5: Part 2, Toy Commander, Typing of the Dead, Virtua Tennis or any of the other gleaming gems on the system; but that's okay! I made as much celebration of it as I could! My Dreamcast won't be seeing any less playtime come 9/10/09 and beyond!
