StarWing (Star Fox) Image question.

Post by emwearz »

Just recently got Starwing, I have never played it in the past (GASP!) I was wondering if it is normal to output on a slight angle towards to the top the screen (It is the full width at the bottom of the image but towards to top it is about 15-20 pixels inwards) It only happens in Starwing and only during the 3D scenes.

It looks something like this (sorry didnt take a photo).

Side note: Damm it is such a small ammount of the screen, most games on a PAL console have boarders, but this takes the cake its like 50% smaller, and even if I install a 50/60HZ switch, which I plan to soon, the game bugs up in 60HZ mode. Lame

I'm not sure but a ton of my older games do this on my CRT. Is your CRT flat? If so that would be why.

Yea. A lot of games do that to correct for the curve of the screen on older CRT's. Some games don't do this however.
