I've been avoiding getting a DC, but a friend is giving me his, so I figure I'll give it a try. Name some good games for me. I don't like RPG or FPS games, and not a big fan of most puzzle games. Also, nothing that is available on PS2.
So far, I'm looking at:
Sega Rally 2
Daytona
Metropolis Street Racer
Virtual On
Test Drive Le Mans
Jet Grind Radio

Do you like survival horror?
Resident Evil 2 and 3 saw ports from the PS1 to the DC. There's not much in terms of graphical updates, but there are some nifty features to check out. Dino Crisis was also ported. Blue Stinger's also an interesting title(though I have mixed feelings on it), and you'll never find another one as unique as Illbleed.

Re: What Dreamcast games are worth buying?
I recommend burning a few games to CD-Rs and playing them yourself before making a decision to purchase the actual game. That way you can determine for yourself if a game is worth buying.
And although it's not a game on its own, don't forget about NesterDC!

Is there a good tutorial for doing this aimed at 3rd grade comprehension? I've sort of given up this stuff after not being able to get any sega cd games to work (except sonic megamix)glynnahab wrote:I recommend burning a few games to CD-Rs and playing them yourself before making a decision to purchase the actual game.
