Broken Modchip

I recently purchased 2 modchips. 1 for my friends model 2 saturn and 1 as a backup.
I tried installing the first modchip into the model 2 and could not get it to display anything
but the unreadable disc message.
I took out the first modchip and installed the 2nd modchip the exact same way as I did the first one,
and it worked perfectly.
Is there anyway I can get an exchange or a refund for this defective modchip?

Well I don't have any chips right now, but if you send the one back I can issue a refund for the price you paid for the chip.
