I kid of course. Haven't heard or read anything following up on that article since. It's a darn shame as I know there'd be a market for that.

There would be a decent sized market for a DC clone I think. Which led me to thinking: Why is it only the NES, SNES and Genesis you see cloned? Hmmmmm

Because they have pretty simple hardware by today's standards.
