Guys - I posted a thread last month talking about my upcoming trip to Japan. I mentioned going to a baseball game and someone suggested we get our tix in advance. I'm trying to do that, but the Web sites for the teams are not English friendly.
Can anyone give me advice on how to navigate these pages? We're trying to go to a game in Tokyo, sometime between Sept. 29 and the end of the season (we'll be in Tokyo until about Oct. 3-4 but could stay longer if we get these tix -- I think the season ends Oct. 5?). We don't really have a preference on teams, just want to see the game.
I'd be MASSIVELY appreciative if someone would be willing to buy the tickets and mail them to us in the US. I can PayPal the money quickly. Any help would be wonderful. I really want to see a game as I'm a huge baseball fan but don't know how to go about it.
Help! I am trying to buy tix to a Japanese baseball game

Thankyou for this information about your interest of baseball game. I could be being a helpful in this matter to you. As I recently inherited a large sum of tickets for these games from a relative who was lost to me. However, I need help to transfer these tickets to you and collect from this relative. If you could send me money in the total of $5000 I would be able to transfer these tickets to you as well as this money back. Would you also be having interest in a young millionaire girl who is quite virginous and may want to meet you on w e a l t h y m i l l i o n a i r e hotties . com ?

I know enough Japanese to navigate websites but I have no idea which site to visit or how to go about it. I've never been to Japan and I barely know anything about baseball. If you need help translating something, I can do my best to help with that at least.

I've always just bought tickets at the game with no problem. Where were you thinking of watching? Seibu Dome?

Yeah, don't two teams play there? I wouldn't think it would be a problem to get some cheap seats, but only concern is with it being so close to the end of the season that the rest of the games might be sold out.

Yup! Every game two teams play...RadarScope1 wrote:Yeah, don't two teams play there?
It's only the home stadium for the Lions, though.
I don't think it would be a problem. As far as I know, there's always tickets reserved for the ticket booths to sell on game day.I wouldn't think it would be a problem to get some cheap seats, but only concern is with it being so close to the end of the season that the rest of the games might be sold out.

Aha, that is good to know. That's not necessarily the case with pro sports in the states. Games can sell out far ahead of time.
