Here's my list of absolute must have games on their respective consoles, not including the pre-crash consoles (other than the 2600), current generation consoles and a few either very old or very obscure consoles. And, before anyone "reminds" me, no... I didn't list Jet Set Radio as a must have DC game. I just didn't get into it. I also left out handhelds. Sorry in advance.

Pre-crash refers to consoles that were made before the Great Video game Crash of 1983. As the name would imply, the industry imploded and it wasn't until the NES that it became big again. This is where you find things like the Atari, Colecovision, Vectrex, Fairchild, etc.

Super mario allstars is a must have if you never had an nes.

The list is good but I disagree with most of the racing games, there are better versions out, this also includes Melee.

Also if you have MAME the list shrinks a lot.
