Any Systems You Don't want to collect?

The Nintendo DS is probably on the top of my list for this topic, I'm just not into rpg's and strange experimental Japanese games.

N-Gage-if that can even be considered a game system; or any cell based games for that matter, like the iPhone with Crash Bandicoot Nitro seriously? It's called the PSN folks

And just about all consoles before the SNES, emulation is so readily available that there is little point in buying an older system just so you can play the games, now collecting for the sake of having the original systems that I can understand but the older systems don't really have anything that jumps out at me and says, "Look I'm a game that will make you want to spend an arm and a leg to buy the entire system!" granted there are a lot of good so-called "old school titles" but as far as going backwards, I dunno.

In retrospect, while everyone else grew up with the NES and the SNES my first systems were the GBC and the N64 when I was like 8 then I jumped on the PS2 bandwagon and never looked back,PSP, XBOX, GC, PS3, PC and so on... Not too much love for the oldies. :(

Leave every hope, ye who enter!" -Dante

Do you realize how many amazing games the DS has that aren't rpg or crazy Japanese stuff? Oh well, remember what Voltaire said.

Atari 5200 - I had it before, it took too much space and I hated the controller

Atari Jaguar - There aren't that many good games for it, plus its only going to take up space

Phillips CD-I - There is no good games for it, and its only going to take up too much space

Amiga CD32 - One weird ass controller that I probably will get used to it, plus I rather have the actual Amiga computer.

Any systems at the pre-crash thats not Atari, Colicovision, and Intellevision

3DO not having that many good games? :O 3DO is an amazing system with a very good library, and my collection is minimal at that.

I can't say there's no system I wouldn't seize up, I'll naturally avoid the more expensive ones until I actually find them cheap, but I'd still seek them out. Also the ones with publicized bad libraries will still be collected by me, because those opinions are usually biased and without actually playing the library of games. People tell me the Jaguar is bad, but I think it's a great system. Same can be said about the 3DO and Virtual Boy among others.

I seem to loose interest in everything but my Saturn and Dreamcast. I have no clue why, I guess SEGA was just too awesome for their own good. :P

Neo Geo - maybe if I won the lottery but otherwise I can't see the point

Turbo Grafx - I've tried to figure out why I need one but there's maybe 3 or 4 games I've seen that I'd like to play but the prices are too high for the system and the games I'd want

Most handhelds - I don't really go anywhere that I'd play a handheld, much less an old one. I have a ds that gathers dust already. I buy gameboy games because of the snes gameboy player, and I might get the gamecube gameboy player so I can go back and play some gba games that I never played. But basically if I can't play it on a tv, I don't want it.

Atari Jaguar - I remember going into kb toys in the mall and they had these on clearance for like $40. They had a demo set up with it for a while and I played that 3D flying game. I always sort of wanted one because they were so cheap and zool 2 looked kinda fun. I'll probably get one of these some day. . . maybe sooner than later because prices seem to be going up.....
