for used stuff at yardsales, etc... I mainly see: PS1, Dreamcast, NES (toaster), Gamecube. PS2, N64, and some XBox's. These are the ones I'd call common for my area. Gameboy/GBA and Genesis are somewhat common. I have seen a couple of Saturns in the past, but that's mostly rare. Strangely, SNES pops up pretty much never!

Here in the wild always is current gen. Stores only carry latest systems like PS3, 360, Wii, DS, PSP and the ocassional PS2 that still sells decently. All about $70-100 more than the US current price, rest of Central America is even worse.
There are only 2 or 3 classified ad websites in which people tend to sell videogame stuff. Gamecubes and Xboxes appear every now and then usually people asking $100 or more for bundles with crappy games. PS1, N64, GBA, SNES, GB, NES are very rare now but should be some still around stored in closets for years. Never seen anything at a pawn shops, there are no flea markets or yardsales so importing is a must. Retro gamers and collectors are a rare sighting, so everytime I see anything older than a PS2 I tend to pick it up regardless if I have it already and its the right price.
The 3DO is the rarest thing I've found here and it was mostly luck.
