For some stupid reason I decided the other day to get FF7 Dirge of Cerberus and give it a try. While reading up on just how bad it's going to be I noticed it has USB mouse support.
I did a quick google on it and can't seem to find a good list of which other games have Mouse Support, tho Wikipedia has a neat list of Playstation 1 games which do (I didn't even know there was a PS1 mouse...)
Here's what I found so-far (verified listed with *):
* Half Life (Excellent)
* Red Faction II (bad implementation)
* Dirge of Cerberus (sluggish - only in the US release)
* Deus Ex (slow)
Unreal Tournament
Final Fantasy XI
ATV2 (not MX vs ATV)
Resident Evil 4
Myst III: Exile
Star Trek: Voyager Elite Force
SOCOM (which one?)
These games don't have mouse control during gameplay:
Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 (logo drawing only)
Armored Core series (logo drawing only)
So can anyone add to this list or verify that any of these games are indeed playable with a mouse?
Also, has anyone tried this adapter? It claims it can add mouse support to any PS2 game...
Edit: Agreed about Drige of Cerberus, the mouse control, while good for precision aiming, movement with it is sluggish for the amount of tight turns needed in the game. Also the game sucks.

Re: Playstation 2 Mouse Support
I can confirm that Half Life works with a USB mouse and USB keyboard. Just tried it 5 seconds ago.

Nice, didn't know this was possible... Makes it all a bit of nicer to play fps on a ps2.
Gonna try it this weekend. If I get possible results with some games I will post them here...

Re: Playstation 2 Mouse Support
That mouse pictured is for the PS1 and should only work with PS1 games that support it. I believe most PS2 games with mouse support are done through the USB ports, and you can use just about any USB mouse.
Also, I can confirm that Red Faction 2 has full USB keyboard and mouse support. I played through the game using them.

I'd like to pick one up myself. My light gun doesn't work with Die Hard trilogy and supposedly you can use the mouse.BigTinz wrote:10 years ago...yea. It's a solid mouse too, I got a cheap one second hand.Anayo wrote:$39.95 for playstation mouse? What the heck?

Good question. You can do special searches on the playstation page for mouse games.

They seem to be missing games.
