PS3 Megabox Not Booting

PS3 Megabox Not Booting
I'm trying to run the PS3 Megabox Linux distro, but I'm having some problems. I installed the Petitboot loader, which takes a little while to start, but works fine otherwise. Then, I burned the Megabox .iso to a CD-R using Imgburn, at 8x speed. I tried loading it from the bootloader, as the setup instructions said, but when it's booting, the text at the bottom of the Petitboot screen gets stuck at "Booting Megabox". I heard that Megabox is currently incompatible with HDMI cables, which is what I have, but I should think it would at least boot. I then tried burning the image again at the same speed onto a DVD-R, with no success. What should I do to get this working?

I'm pretty sure the Slim isn't out yet, and even if it was, I don't think I could have gotten this far already. I have an 80GB PS3; the one that came bundled with Metal Gear Solid 4.

but i was just seeing,because of the reports

Have you tried another Distro? Yellow Dog is a wonderful version of Linux(IMO the best PS3 version).
