Battletoads anyone?

Ok. I've followed links to that site before and I've never really understood the intent or purpose of it, it just seems like wikipedia with no restrictions or something? Or is it just one team of people running it?

It's the assholes of the internet (collectively Anonymous) archiving their so-called exploits and memes in a wiki. They mostly hang out on a message board type thing called 4chan or sub-boards of it.

Back on topic; I originally thought the Nintendo game was the original then one day I saw the Arcade version and the graphics on it blew me away.
edit: my bad, NES was the original.

4chan is miserable. it has change how my friend acts and is sometimes hard for me to get along with him. although you can possibly find something funny. its mostly the younger generation that finds it funny.

Just a record of a prank the guys at 4chan did a couple of years ago asking employees of gamestop about the upcoming Battletoads for Wii. The commercials for it are pretty good.

I actually beat the original Battletoads over a weekend with my brother when it came out for Nintendo. I doubt I could do it again.

Actually, they'd ask for the Battletoads on the Genesis, but do their best to waste the Gamestop employee's time. It was actually a pretty good system for annoying the piss out of any GS location that had pissed you off without having to involve management(which,if you know local managers, can be an absolutely worthless experience at times). A friend of mine got them to do it to a local Gamestop after he'd visited it and the staff had been pricks to his girlfriend.

To be fair, the dirty picture parts of 4chan are halfway decent, assuming you like the content. Ironic that /b/ is more of a cesspool than /d/, isn't it?

I like the original NES Battletoads, which was incredibly hard without ever being too unfair. I thought the sequels got unfairly difficult and stopped being fun though.

im not really big on ED or 4chan so i didn't find anything truly funny about it.

I went to my friends house and he started doing that stupid shit. "Hey do you have battletoads?! aehehehe" and he hangs up. It's so fucking stupid. But of course it's coming from 4chan so what can you expect eh?

Battlemaniacs is my favorite Battletoads game. It has the best music too. But no one can beat the fourth (third if you don't count the bonus as a level) level. I got the game when it was new and everyone I know always failed at that level (the speeder level). I still try to this day. My brother and 2 cousins were playing it a few weeks ago until like 2am, still can't do it.

I've made it to the ice level, which I believe is level 4. I know at least one other guy here has(I think it's Luke). Not sure about beyond it.
