Its funny, I saw dash galaxy today and knew nothing about it but nearly bought it. It was 2.99. I ended up with two other bad games instead. Some from my list from the other thread:
-Superman 64
-Robotica - just picked this up for saturn. First person shooter, every level is randomly generated and looks exactly the same.
-Lord of the sword for master system
-Where's waldo
-Heavy Nova
-Doom for snes, the other one I picked up. The framerate is so bad you may as well swap out the frames by hand.
-Super Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back - this game is so cheaply hard it leaves basically no fun factor, you never really feel like a powerful jedi knight, you feel like a cripple with a flashlight being gang raped in the arctic. . .

Every time I go look for TG16/PCE games I notice that Deep Blue is usually sorta cheap, but still not as cheap as it should be considering how bad I always read it is. But hey, part of me wants to suffer a bit. I've got Knight Rider Special, care to trade?Breetai wrote:1. Deep Blue (TG-16)

I am actually a little sad because I owned ET for the 2600 when I was younger. I was too young to realize that it was a piece of crap game, but I remember wanting it so bad and was so happy when I got it. I would play it for hours and have no clue what was going on and get so frustrated with myself. Now that I don't have it anymore I miss it and wish I never got rid of it - just for novelty sake.

Deep Blue, to be honest, is not THE WORST game ever. It's bad, but it's still (frustratingly) playable.Hobie-wan wrote:Every time I go look for TG16/PCE games I notice that Deep Blue is usually sorta cheap, but still not as cheap as it should be considering how bad I always read it is. Why? I honestly can't find any redeeming factors. I only played through 4 levels but I only played that far hoping that the 5th would somehow be different. When I looked it up online I found out that there was no variation whatsoever. I don't know how many levels there are but what compels you to move forward if there's no lure to see something new? Wander around, find the key, find the exit, move on to the next completely grey area and do the same thing until you get to the end and see some cutscene that might have been impressive in 1990.aaron wrote:aw, i really liked Robotica, or Daedalus in Japan.

I'll give you one reason why it's not the worst Saturn game ever:Jrecee wrote:Why? I honestly can't find any redeeming factors. Oh I'm sure it's not the worst saturn game. But it's the worst one I own. The other bad one is jurassic park 2.

Re: Top 10 Worst Games from 1985-2005
I have played tons of crappy games, but the one that keeps popping up in my head is Street Fighter 1. I have given this game so many chances, but its dismal controls kill me every time. I still haven't deleted it from my MAME ROM list, so that means I still have hope for it.
