Sounds like a porno.

In all honesty, Ed Wood is always worth a watch.

Lets see...

Paul Blart Mall Cop: Hilarious to make fun of

Love Guru: Terrible and offensive

The Goods: Not very good. I was angry at the audience for laughing at a lot of the jokes. Their taste in comedy is atrocious.

The Adventures of Prince Achmed - CREEPY
The Snow Queen - somewhat creepy, but thats Soviet Animation for you.

Im on a panel about European animation this weekend at Dragoncon and have been watching alot of 20s through 50s European animation and some of it is just scary. Ofcourse Asterix and Tintin are at the top of the list, but the Snow Queen is what influenced Miyazaki to make films.

Been watching alot of comedies recently;

Office Space - HOW? How in the hell did I miss this movie? Goddamn, I love Mike Judge and i'd heard of this film, but never realised it was his. Anyways, I enjoyed it thoroughly, so many hilarious moments. Now to check out Idiocracy.

I Love You, Man - suprised I enjoyed this one as much as I did, Paul Rudd is great "Slappin da bass maaaann" :lol:

The Hangover - I was pleasantly suprised by this film, I asumed it would be the usual cliché plot where the groom gets set up by his mates and has to get back in time for his wedding, and while the plot is pretty similar to that tired cliché, the film does a good job of mixing things up with more than a few unexpected moments. Not great, but enjoyable.

Observe & Report - I thought this was heading down the sappy clichéd route of 'mall cop realises dream to become real cop', but the swerve towards the end and the whole finale scene was just great.

Also, watched this anime last night;

Royal Space Force: Wings of Honneamise - thoroughly enjoyable classic anime, the blu-ray remastering is excellent (despite a bit of grainyness here and there) and it's great to finally see this film again after so many years as it was one of my favourites as a kid.

I couldn't recommend this movie more, Gainax's first piece of animation and an all around awesome movie with an excellent soundtrack by Ryuichi Sadamoto.

I own the Blu-Ray of it as well and can honestly say the animation quality looks incredible for it's age and the Blu-Ray film transfer really serves to bring out all the neat details in it.

Johnnie To's Exiled is enjoyable viewing, if you haven't seen either of his Elections films. The plot is unoriginal and the action is implausible but don't let that detract from an otherwise solid HK film.

Pretty good so far. It's about a gay teen in a production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" who creates a love potion after reading the play. He then uses it to turn the rest of the school, and then the town, gay with it. It's really interesting. Perfect for fans of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch", like me.

Plan 9 From Outer Space, the rifftrax live thingy

I enjoyed myself, but much preferred the guest appearance of Johnathan Coultan that occurred beforehand.
