With the new Wii update today, the internet browser is free. The browser is not all that great... I wanted to watch The Office on NBC.com, but the browser cant handle it.
So I was wondering if anyone knew of any sites or good flash games that would be fun to play on the net using the WiiRemote?

Wasn't it always free? It was free for me... did Nintendo start charging for it then make it free again?

There was a period where it cost $5.

So it should be free, when it was first launched (For free) I remember people complaining about it but with a 'they will update it soon' attitude. NOPE!

I used mine mostly for Youtube. I will admit I used it for TVlinks in the past but now none of those sites will load.

Well now they can make a profit off it, since Nintendo is offering a free N64 VC title to them.

I paid for it
But according to Nintendo we will be able to download a Nes game for free. No N64 game.

Source http://www.nintendo.com/whatsnew/detail ... vnZglSF8oYStarting at the end of October, consumers who have previously exchanged 500 Wii Points to download the Internet Channel will be able to download, at no cost, one NES™ game of their choice valued at 500 Wii Points from Virtual Console™. Details of this download offer will be provided via the Wii Message Board and on Nintendo.com.
Thanks everyone...

I paid for it back when I used a massive backlog of stars to acquire loads of Wii Points.
I wanted my Wii to be capable of absolutely everything that it could be capable of, and seeing as I had those spare points anyway, I downloaded it.
As long as they let us download an NES game of our choice, then it's cool.

My mistake, looks like my source was not well informed yesterday.
