god its so hard to limit to 10 - i leave out things like MGS series, Silent Hill, Mario Kart, Sonic, Herzog Zwei etc etc..but yeah i think id have to put my top 10 as these...

Mortal Kombat 2 - Mega Drive
Shenmue - Dreamcast
Fallout 3 - Xbox 360
Duke Nukem 3D - PC
Broken Sword 2 - PC

I've put some thought into this list and can't find 2 additional games I love as much as these eight. I recently bought Guardian Heroes and I love it, it might make the list but it's too soon to tell.

i just bought shenmue I and II and havent played them yet so im looking forward.

but streets of rage three really? i had that as a kid - just played through it again on the sega megadrive collection and unfortunately it didnt stand the test of time...

SOR3 was the first game in the series I played. I liked that it was faster than the second one. This is probably the game I like the most out of all on that list. So much so that I bought it THRICE! (First copy was stolen, second was in bad shape, the third copy is mint though)

Shenmue is not for everyone but I hope you will enjoy them. Very slow pace but fun.

Yeah, MKII Does indeed rock.
