Also I think its nice that our forums have longer discussions than most. I hate searching for an answer and come up on a Gamespot forum where there are no replies or the replies are "LOL noobz".

Yeah, I wish there was a way to keep a longer conversation going through these boards. Everything I'm thinking of probably already exists on here but it'd be cool if I knew when people replied to my post. I think its cool that all our posts do go for 3 pages, I just wished they'd come back up later.

To answer your question, no, I don't see any options in the user CP for number of replies per page.

Well, don't forget people like me browse on their phones -- plus I also have to pay for bandwidth. Sure, it's not super expensive, but it does add up as I usually have to pay extra for my overages as the end of the month. (I max out my host's shared server plans)

Posts seem to only get a lot of replies if someone badmouths something, or overly complements something, or ,rececently, talk about your new cat. the latter one is at 5 pages so far.

If its not one of the above its 'cause people are talking to each other rather then replying to your post. See replies to mozgus in your post for an example.
